Quality Plumbing Services Built on Relationships

The AquaRescue Story

“I started my own company because I saw a need for quality plumbing services in Ontario.”

For Igor Yakovyshenko, founder of AquaRescue, the goal was clear from the beginning. He wanted to build a plumbing company based on strong workmanship, honest service, and long-term relationships with customers.

“I wanted to build a company that filled that need and was based on the relationship principle: we treat our customers like family. We follow up after each job to make sure our customers are happy with our services, and to let them know that we are in their corner in case of emergency, day or night.”

Today, AquaRescue provides plumbing and drain services across more than 25 locations in the GTA. Our technicians are highly qualified, licensed, and insured, and our work is guided by the same values the company was built on: safety first, quality service, transparency, open communication, and respect for every customer’s home or business.

Our Founder

Meet Igor Yakovyshenko

Igor’s plumbing career started early.

“I started when I was 18 years old: replacing floor drains and plumbing rough-ins. Every job, big or small, taught me something new and made me want to know more.”

Those first years gave him hands-on experience in underground plumbing, drain work, rough-ins, watermains, commercial projects, and jobs involving engineers and city inspections. Over time, he continued to build his knowledge through courses, seminars, and practical field experience.

“I constantly like to learn new things, so those first years were attending courses and seminars, and doing every job I could get my hands on.”

As his experience grew, Igor became a certified backflow preventer installer and tester and earned certifications such as TSSA G2 and G1 gas licences. His background now includes residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing work, along with experience using precise diagnostic tools, cameras, locators, and heavy equipment.

Our Growth Since 2009

Since 2009, AquaRescue has grown in size and scope while staying true to the reason it started: to provide reliable plumbing service that customers feel comfortable calling again.

We now offer a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing services, including plumbing inspections, trenchless line replacements, drain line cleaning, camera inspections, sump pump installations, drain repairs, water line work, and emergency plumbing service.

These services have become second nature to Igor and the AquaRescue team, but technical skill is only part of the work. The way we communicate with customers matters just as much.

“Knowing how to fix all of the plumbing problems that come our way is not as important as our customers. We take the time to explain our process to them so they know what we are doing and why.”

How We Treat Every Home

At AquaRescue, we do not recommend work in a customer’s home that we would not do in our own.

“We don’t do any repairs, replacements, or upgrades in our customers’ homes that we wouldn’t do in our own homes.”

That approach shapes every service call. We take time to inspect the issue, explain what we find, and walk customers through the next steps. Using tools such as digital cameras and locators, we can show customers what is happening inside their plumbing or drain system instead of asking them to make decisions without clear information.

Our goal is to complete every job properly, safely, and to a high standard guided by the Ontario Plumbing Code.

Why Customers Keep Calling AquaRescue

The relationship-first approach has helped AquaRescue earn strong reviews on HomeStars and Google, but online reviews are only part of the story.

“The majority of our clients are return customers, and we have a lot of word-of-mouth new customers.”

For us, that means we are doing the work the right way. Customers call us again because they know we will answer, explain the issue, complete the repair with care, and be there when a plumbing emergency happens.

AquaRescue was created to provide honest, competitive plumbing repairs quickly and efficiently, while giving customers clear communication, dependable workmanship, and emergency support when they need it most.
