When Trenchless Water Line Replacement Is Necessary
Trenchless water main replacements are a favoured over traditional water line replacements when land preservation is important and when accessing hard to reach areas. Additional factors we consider include soil conditions and grading as well as proximity to neighbours. Signs a water line may need replacing include:

What’s Involved in Trenchless Water Line Replacement?
Replacing water lines without digging a trench saves you time, money, and hassle. Steps involve:
We use a state-of-the art camera inspection tool to locate the damaged water line and determine which sections, if any, need replacing.
We drill two small holes in the ground, one at each end of the water line. Using a hydraulic device, the new pipe is inserted through the old pipe and the once in place, the old pipe is pulled out through the second hole.
We backfill the two holes with soil and cleanup to restore the site to its previous condition.

Pipe lining is a method we use to repair underground pipes without the need for major excavation and property disruption. We construct a new pipe inside the existing water line using a high-density epoxy. Using this method, we can successfully repair the pipe without damaging or altering the existing structure or the surrounding landscape.

Pipe Bursting
Pipe bursting involves the use of a spear-shaped hydraulic tool that’s attached to cable. The device enters the old pipe through a previously drilled hole and bursts through to make space for the new one. The old pipe and the hydraulic device then exit through the second hole on the opposite side.
