To begin your main water line repair in Toronto, we use a plumbing video camera to carry out an assessment, determining the cause and location of the problem.
Once the problem is located, we use underground water line repair techniques and trenchless technology to fix the issue, essentially inserting a new pipe inside the old one. This ensures that your lawn is not destroyed in the process, as the need for digging is lessened, and saves you money.
The different methods we can use to repair or replace your water line include:
Without digging any trenches, a bursting head is used to breaking the existing pipe while at the same time pulling a new pipe in place with our trenchless pipe replacement.
A flexible liner coated with epoxy resin is inserted into the existing pipe, after which it is inflated and hardens, creating a brand-new pipe within the old one.
Similar to trenchless pipe relining, but only suitable for small pipes, a hard liner is inserted into the existing pipe.
A drilling rig is used to make a hole that the new pipe can then be pulled through.
A trench is excavated along the water line in order to replace the old pipe with a new one.
